Good morning friends, Congratulations on yesterdays clues, many of you excelled considerably. Those of you who solved the final clue will have read my notes already, but I attach them here to keep everyone up to speed. Yesterdays clues are now locked but instead I invite you to embark upon today's bout of puzzlehunting by following this link --> http://game.skynet.ie/clues2008/clue2-1.txt Good Luck Pauli Eelis -- Nov 20th: We have been contacted to carry out experiments on Oil drilling platforms experiencing reduced drill bit life and melted bits. No magma is present and no obvious source of heat. Tested for presence of exotic metals. Dec 19th: Received email regarding Ushas, will return to Finland shortly to reinvestigate the drill. Dec 26th: Have taken some oil and rock samples, drill bits seem abnormally worn. will investigate further in Lab. Rig is quite, workers gone home. Jan 10th: Back in UL after a short stop in London. Jan 15th: Stayed in lab all weekend, strange results, everything seems to check out. Oil is good. Metal ore is good. Rock seems fine. Jan 19th On a hunch I increased the pressure exerted on the rock today. The pressure exerted on the rock by the drill may be a factor in a reaction from the drill bit. At 1.5ATM the pressure chamber blew out - I was slightly injured from the flying fragments.
